What this site does not do

This site consists of static files. There is no login, no comment section and no contact form. No cookies are set, no analytics or tracking services are included, no fonts or scripts are loaded from third party servers, and no profile is built about you. The light and dark switch stores your choice inside your own browser only, that value never leaves your device.

Hosting and server logs

The site is delivered through GitHub Pages, a service of GitHub Inc., 88 Colin P. Kelly Jr. Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA, a Microsoft company.

When you open a page, GitHub processes technically necessary access data, including your IP address, date and time, the requested file, the amount of data transferred and details about your browser and operating system. That processing is required for the page to reach you at all and serves the security and stability of the service. The legal basis is legitimate interest under Art. 6(1) (f) GDPR.

Data is transferred to the USA in the process. GitHub commits to the standard contractual clauses of the EU Commission for that transfer. I have no influence on how long these logs are kept, and I do not receive any evaluation of them. More detail is available in GitHub's privacy statement at docs.github.com.

Contact by email

If you write to me, I process your message and your sender address in order to answer it. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR. I delete such messages once they are dealt with and no retention obligation applies.

The site links to Instagram and itch.io. Those services only learn something about you once you click such a link and their page loads. No content from these providers is embedded directly. Their own privacy notices apply to whatever they process.

Your rights

You have the right to information about the data stored about you, to rectification, erasure and restriction of processing, to data portability, and the right to object to processing based on legitimate interest. Please use the address above. You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, usually the one in your country of residence.
